Blossom Blast Saga features 120 levels at launch, each with a different goal. For instance, some levels ask players to earn a large number of points, while others challenge users to clear special ‘big buds’ by either using them in matches or blooming other flowers next to them. To be specific, these big buds each contain a number, which decreases as players use them in matches or bloom flowers next to them. When the number reaches zero, the big bud blooms and causes an explosion which will grow nearby flowers.
Stages become more complicated as players progress, with the addition of challenges like broken flower pots and glass tiles. Specifically, players can clear broken flower pots from the board by making matches or blooms next to them, while glass tiles are cleared by creating matches with the flowers trapped underneath each tile, or creating blooms nearby.
Blossom Blast Saga will keep the gameplay fresh with a variety of different missions that require creative and strategic thinking. Game modes such as 'Big Bud Mode' require players to explode all the big buds on the game board by linking the same colour flowers into it, while 'Collect the Flowers' mode challenges players to bloom a certain colour of flower in a sequence.
