EA Sports announced FIFA 15 at the E3 Video Game conference this week in Los Angeles. FIFA 15 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms on September 23 in North America and September 25 in Europe. Specific versions will also be made for Xbox 360, Wii U, Play Station 3, Vita and Nintendo 3DS.
With improved graphics and corner flags that move if hit by a ball or player, EA focused their efforts on improving the pitch itself, including scuff marks in the grass after a long game. All 22 players are said to be more responsive to their surroundings and will pay attention to improved referees, offside calls and missed goal opportunities.
The best way I can describe my time with the game is with the phrase, “less look, more feel.” Perhaps it’s the silly “next-gen” expectations that leave me unimpressed visually, but FIFA 15 doesn’t appear to have made a significant leap from last year’s installment. The most noticeable upgrades are to the pitch surfaces. Now you’ll start to see wear and tear on the field as the match goes on. It’s a really neat, atmospheric feature, but I can’t help but feel that the feature was a bit exaggerated to make up for the lack of visual improvements elsewhere.
With FIFA 15 on the horizon, there's no doubt you'll be hoping for lots of goals in your upcoming matches. One thing that can make a goal great is the signature celebration that follows it. Whether it's a kiss of the wrist, beating up the poor corner flag or a simple bite of the hand, players have come to be known for their own unique celebrations.
With FIFA 15's demo being released this week, including City v Liverpool and Napoli v PSG. FIFA 15 will be kicking off on September 26th, when it is released for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. Which celebration will you pick?
